Lojay opens up on relationship with Folasade Adeleke

Singer Lojay has clarified his bond with Folashade Adeleke, calling her his ‘best friend’ and denying romantic rumors”

Folashade, daughter of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and cousin to Afrobeats star Davido has been in public speculation about a possible romance with Lojay.

Lojay emphasised that their bond is strictly platonic, describing Folashade as his “best friend,” revealing that they “just clicked” from the moment they met through Davido’s 30BG crew.

Lojay also shared that he’s not ready for a romantic relationship, focusing instead on healing from past experiences and personal growth.

He said: “Fola is literally my best friend. From the very first day I met her, I just knew she was different.

“She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew, and she holds it down for everybody. Since then, we just clicked and have been good friends ever since.

“Unfortunately for me, I’m not ready for a relationship yet. Some people assume that means you’re messing around, but that’s not my reality. Sometimes, people genuinely need time to heal from past experiences, and that’s where I am right now.”
