Kenyan-American singer and songwriter, Victoria Kimani, has made a revelation about her love life, claiming that men from her home country rarely approach her for romantic relationships
In a recent episode of The Box Pod, Kimani, who was once signed to Nigerian music label Chocolate City, shared that only foreigners seem to express interest in her while in Kenya.
“I don’t get approached in Kenya. Nobody approaches me, unless they are not from here,” she said.
Kimani suggested that the reluctance may stem from a lack of self-confidence among Kenyan men or the assumption that she would reject them because of her celebrity status.
“It’s like a lack of confidence or they just assume that I’m going to turn them down or they just don’t know how [to approach me]. It’s like they lack game,” she said.
