R&B legend and actress Brandy Norwood was officially awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, marking a major milestone in her career spanning more than three decades.

The 47-year-old singer received the 2,839th star on Hollywood Boulevard in the Recording category, celebrated by family, friends, and fans.
Her daughter Sy’rai joined her on stage, and fellow artists including Monica, Issa Rae, and Babyface attended to honor her achievements.
In her acceptance speech, Brandy reflected on the significance of the honor:
“A star on the Walk of Fame is not just a celebration of success it cements your story.” She described it as a powerful symbol of legacy and perseverance.
