Adesua initiated our relationship after friend zoning me – Banky W

Banky W has shared an account of how his relationship with his wife, Adesua Etomi, began, revealing that she was the one who eventually made the decisive move in their love story.

Speaking on a podcast where Adesua was also present, Banky W recalled how their relationship started on a friendship footing before evolving into something deeper after a long period of waiting and uncertainty.

According to him, Adesua initially kept him in the “friend zone” for quite a while, prompting him to step back and leave the outcome in God’s hands.

“Adesua was actually the one who asked me to be her husband. She kept me in the friend zone for a long time, so I stopped pushing and simply prayed to God to touch her heart. After a year and a few months, she finally called me ‘my husband’—and that’s it.”, he said.
