May tragedy not be our norm – Kunle Remi on insecurity

Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi has reacted to the worsening insecurity across Nigeria, especially following the recent attacks and abductions in Oyo State

Sharing his thoughts on the incident, the actor expressed sadness over the suffering of victims, particularly children trapped in forests.

“I settle in for the night, I can’t help but think. As you go to bed tonight, remember there are children sleeping in the forests… imagine the cold, the bugs, the fear, the discomfort. Remember there is a mother holding her baby helplessly. Parents praying for safety. Schools living in fear.

“And somehow, in the middle of all this, election campaigns and preparations still continue. Bloggers are posting election like everything is normal. May we never become so used to tragedy that we stop feeling it,” he said.
