Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has reiterated that his disagreement with fellow Nigerian star Wizkid is still ongoing, shutting down any talk of a possible reconciliation between them.
In a recent interview with Selah Meditate, Seun was asked whether he and Wizkid had settled their differences. He quickly dismissed the idea, making it clear that there has been no peace reached between both artists.
“No, what are you talking about? Please let’s move on, I don’t want to talk about that,” he said when the question was raised.
He went further to emphasize that his stance has not changed, linking the issue to comments he believes were made about his late father, legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti.
“My grudge for Wizkid is on for life because you don’t say things about my dad and think it’s fine. No, there is no coming back from that,” he stated.
Seun’s remarks suggest that the rift between both music stars remains unresolved, despite ongoing public interest in whether they might eventually settle their differences.
