Governor appoints Ahmed Musa General manager of Kano Pillars

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has appointed former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa as the new General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club

This marks a significant step in the club’s restructuring ahead of the 2025–2026 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

Musa, who once played for Kano Pillars before launching a successful international career, returns to the club in a top executive role.

His appointment is seen as a strategic move to revive the club’s legacy, motivate players, and strengthen fan engagement.

Governor Yusuf, while unveiling the new management team, emphasized that Musa’s leadership is expected to attract fresh investment, elevate the club’s standards, and build a stronger connection with supporters.
