Human rights lawyer Femi Falana, alongside his son Falz, have joined protesters in Lagos State calling for urgent action over worsening insecurity and economic hardship in the country
The protest, which took place on Friday morning at the Ikeja Underbridge area of Lagos State, drew citizens demanding better governance and immediate solutions to the security crisis affecting different parts of the nation.
Participants at the demonstration carried placards with various messages, including “No Democracy Without Security,” “End Insecurity and K!dnapping,” “End Bad Governance,” and “Free All A.bducted Children, Teachers, Farmers,” among others, as they decried rising insecurity and daily reports of v!olence.
The presence of Femi Falana and Falz added more attention to the gathering, with both figures known for publicly speaking out on governance and human rights issues in Nigeria.
