Comedian Woli Arole has urged people to be careful about judging others based on stories shared on social media, following the recent discussion surrounding Peter Okoye’s wife, Lola Omotayo.
His comment came after Peter shared more details about what he said happened to Lola during the early years of their relationship.
Peter alleged that his late mother opposed his relationship with Lola when she became pregnant. He also said that some of his brothers asked her to terminate the pregnancy and alleged that a fa.ke email was created to portray her negatively.
Those claims have made some people rethink the way they previously viewed Lola, with some now admitting that they may have judged her without knowing the full story.
Taking to his page, Woli Arole wrote:
“I see a lot of people now saying, ‘Lola, we are sorry’, same people that judged and castigated her. See, listen, don’t be too quick to judge, especially on social media.
A lot of wrong narratives that people follow, and this has damaged reputations and lives!!
Be careful on this street of social media”.
