Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has shared his thoughts on the growing trend of upcoming artistes maintaining very few posts on Instagram while branding it as “aesthetic.”
Speaking candidly, the music executive made it clear that social media visibility still plays a major role in attracting opportunities in the entertainment industry.
According to him, he is not impressed by artistes who barely post content online yet expect to be discovered or signed.
“I will never sign you if you Dont like to post”
Don Jazzy also compared the social media activity of international stars to that of some African music stars whom many young artistes try to imitate.
“I’m tired of seeing artistes with just 3 posts on Instagram calling it aesthetic”
Referencing globally recognized celebrities, he pointed out that consistency and visibility remain important despite fame and status.
“Kim Kardashian has over 6000 posts, Travis Scott has thousands too… stop trying to copy Wizkid, Burna Boy and Asake”
