Singer Portable has thrown out a new challenge — this time to fellow musician Terry G, saying a boxing match between them could help reboot Terry G’s career.
The “Zazuu” star boldly rendered his offer an appearance on Channels Television’s _Rubbin’ Minds, where he talked about his journey in celebrity boxing and what’s next for him in the ring.
When asked who he’d like to fight next, Portable didn’t hesitate:
“I want Terry G. If me and Terry G go one-on-one in boxing, he will blow again. People will start remembering him.”
The interviewer asked if that meant he wanted to help Terry G’s career with the fight, and Portable said yes, even miming a few punches to show he was ready.
Portable also said he’s eyeing a rematch with skit maker Carter Efe, the person who gave him his first loss in celebrity boxing back in May 2026.
“I’m going again with Carter Efe. This time I’ll beat him,” he declared.
Portable further claimed credit for putting celebrity boxing on the map in Nigeria.
“I used my music to build boxing in Nigeria,” he said.
