City officials of Miami Beach, Florida have striped Sean ‘Diddy Combs’ of his Key to the City, nine years after the disgraced mogul received the honor.
According to TMZ, the city decided to part ways with the 54-year-old rapper due to his declining reputation amid his arrest and accumulation of sexual assault accusations and lawsuits.
An insider told the outlet that the move was made at a hearing on Wednesday, which yielded a unanimous vote from the Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner and the city commission.
However, Meiner has yet to sign the resolution making it official.
Combs is currently in a Brooklyn jail after he was arrested by federal agents in New York City in mid-September.
He is facing s3x trafficking charges and is awaiting his impending trial as well as also facing more than 100 se.xual misconduct allegations against him.
Combs’ trial for s3x trafficking and racketeering charges is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
