
Woli Arole has embarked on a noble mission to bring hope and freedom to hundreds of prisoners awaiting trial at Agodi Prison in Ibadan.
During a visit to the facility, Woli Arole was deeply moved by the staggering number of individuals – over 1,000 – who are currently languishing in prison without conviction.
This eye-opening experience sparked a sense of compassion and responsibility in the comedian, prompting him to take action.
On Instagram, Woli Arole announced his plans to hire a team of lawyers who will work tirelessly to secure the release of as many prisoners as possible, free of charge.
Woli Arole’s heartfelt statement read: “I was broken today when I was told that there are over 1000 awaiting trials at Agodi prison. Thank God, we are going to hire lawyers and see how we can bail as many that we can for free!!”
