Beyonce Dedicates Concert To Ailing Aretha Franklin

Beyonce and Jay Z dedicated their OTR II show in Detroit last night to Aretha Franklin.

Bey – who has clashed with the Queen of Soul in the past – made the tribute before performing her opening song at Ford Field stadium.

“This show is dedicated to Aretha Franklin,” she said. She then added, “We love you,” according to the Detroit Free Press and thanked the legendary singer for the “beautiful music.”

Aretha Franklin’s family has been warned that the ‘gravely ill’ star could die at any minute, according to a long-time friend.
