48 years marriage with one wife is boring – Charly Boy

Veteran entertainer Charly Boy has described marriage with the same partner for 48 years as “boring.”

Speaking during an interview on Yanga FM, the outspoken media personality said long-lasting marriages are not free of challenges and require continuous effort from both partners to survive.

Drawing a comparison with eating the same meal repeatedly, Charly Boy joked that staying with one woman for almost half a century can become monotonous.

Despite the playful remark, he emphasized that disagreements are inevitable in any marriage, including his own.

According to him, he and his wife still have frequent misunderstandings but always find a way to resolve them.

“I’ve been married to one woman for 48 years. It is very boring. Imagine eating the same egusi for years, it’s boring now.”, he said.

“All marriages are management, including my own. Me and my wife be like Tom and Jerry. We dey quarrel every day and we will continue to dey quarrel and settle am.”, he added.
