Blaqbonez  has narrated why he rejected to join Mavin Records after Don Jazzy’s comment about artistes needing to be active on social media

Don Jazzy had, during an interview, stressed that he prefers working with artistes who consistently engage their audience online, noting that visibility and interaction on social platforms are now part of modern  music success.

However, Blaqbonez appears to have taken issue with the statement, jumping on his X account to respond in his usual sarcastic and confident tone.

“I Need to get this off my chest before chanel drops, the reason I didn’t sign to mavin when they were begging me with a million dollars is cos i don’t really like posting, I prefer 1 tweet per year than engaging my fans, I’m too big for that, I’m mysterious.”
