Singer, Timi Dakolo has publicly called out airline over the mysterious disappearance of his luggage, which went missing nearly a month ago during a flight from Lagos to Freetown via Morocco.
In a video posted to Instagram, Dakolo recounted his experience, saying he flew business class on June 26 and had priority status on his luggage. According to him, he saw his bag on the tarmac while boarding the plane in Morocco but was shocked when it failed to arrive with him in Freetown.
“I flew from Lagos to Morocco and was headed to Freetown. I saw my bag at the foot of the plane in Morocco — I had priority on my luggage — but it never made it onto the plane. I got to Freetown and the bag didn’t show up,” he said.
“It’s almost a month now. I filled the forms, made calls, sent emails, complained to NAHCO, even drove to the airport myself. Still, nothing. It’s beginning to look like they stole my stuff. Please return my full luggage.”
In the caption accompanying his post, he tagged the airline and wrote:
“Dear @royalairmaroc, please return my luggage. It’s been almost a month since the 26th of June. I last saw my luggage in Morocco. My whole bag can’t just vanish into thin air — I have valuables in there. My people, help me call them out.
