Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released his final 23-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa

Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali made the cut despite picking up an injury during Chippa United’s league match on Monday.

Team captain William Troost-Ekong, star striker Victor Osimhen, and key regulars Ademola Lookman and Alex Iwobi all feature in the list. Wilfred Ndidi, Ola Aina, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, and Calvin Bassey are also included.

The Super Eagles will assemble in Uyo next Monday ahead of their clash with Rwanda on Saturday, September 6. They will then travel to Bloemfontein to take on South Africa three days later.
