Carter Efe says being single brings freedom and happiness

Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe is embracing the single life after ending his relationship with his baby mama, Emmanuella.

The pair share a daughter, but Carter Efe says being on his own has given him a newfound sense of relief and personal freedom.

Speaking about the relationship, he described it as emotionally and mentally draining. “Now that I’m single, I can do whatever I want on livestream. Back then, even small things would lead to calls asking why I did something or why I followed a girl,” he said.

The comedian added that being in a relationship used to limit his behavior online, as casual interactions with women were often misinterpreted. But now, he enjoys the independence he didn’t have before.

When asked if he plans to settle down again, Carter Efe was clear:
he’s happy staying single. “I’ll remain single forever. When I was in a relationship, even talking to a girl made her think something happened. Look at my life now sweet, free, and I can go anywhere I want. I’m the happiest man alive,” he said.

On whether he misses his ex, the comedian didn’t hesitate: “Miss her? No way. I miss money,” he concluded, emphasizing that his focus now is on financial growth and living life on his own terms.
