Stop blaming victims of deception in a relationship – Beverly Osu

Beverly Osu speaks on love and relationships, focusing on how people wrongly blame victims of deception in romance

Taking to Instagram, the Nollywood actress and former reality TV star shared her thoughts on accountability in relationships, saying many people are quick to blame someone for “choosing the wrong partner” while ignoring the possibility that they may have been emotionally manipulated from the start.

According to her, some individuals deliberately present a false version of themselves just to gain trust and access to someone’s emotions.

She wrote:

“We love blaming people for choosing the wrong partner, but we never blame the person who faked their entire personality just to get them. Stop shaming someone for trusting, and start holding the deceiver accountable for manipulating”
