Ghanaian reggae dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has become the first African Dancehall Artist to win both a BET and Nickelodeon award after he won the ‘Favorite African Star’ at DSTV’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The ‘Top Skanka’ hitmaker was competing with Nigeria’s Adesua Etomi-Wellington, IK Osakioduwa and Kenya’s Sauti Sol.
The awards ceremony which was hosted by music mogul, DJ Khaled was the biggest, slimiest party of the year for kids as DJ Khaled brought his music, signature catchphrases and larger-than-life personality to the Kids’ Choice Awards stage.
