
You just can’t outrun Slimcase. It seems as though every publication, Billboard chart or Instagram feed features a reference to the “Otunba Lamba” crooner in some way and he’s seemingly not slowing down when it comes to building his empire of milestone achievements and success.
The latest move by Slimcase sees him flawlessly grace the cover of SIMPLE for the publication’s latest issue.
The spread has Slimcase reveal details on his beginnings and rise to fame. “In the beginning, I actually tried to be a comedian. I thought I was funny. I cracked a lot of jokes in the presence of my friends and they laughed uncontrollably only to tell me; ‘guy ko funny” (meaning it wasn’t funny.)
As for who the new king of the street is, his refusal to regard himself as the “new king” even if he has dominated that it in the last year, portrayed either his modesty or his unwillingness to remain a street-styled artiste indefinitely.
