Singer Talay Riley k!ll£d in London

Nigerian-British singer and songwriter Talay Riley, born Mark Orabiyi, has di.ed at the age of 35 following a fatal s.tabbing incident in east London.

Emergency services were called to Rayleigh Road in Silvertown on Friday morning after reports of an a.ttack. Upon arrival, officers from the Metropolitan Police discovered Riley in a garden suffering from stab wounds. Despite efforts to assist him, he was pronounced de.ad at the scene.

Paying tribute to the late musician, his family described him as a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend whose warmth, talent, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

“His memory will remain in our hearts forever,” the family said.

As part of the investigation, police arrested three individuals on suspicion of m.urder but were later released .

Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke described the case as a tragic incident and confirmed that detectives are actively pursuing leads. She also urged anyone who witnessed the a.ttack or has CCTV or video footage from the area to contact investigators.
