Rihanna plans To Release Next Album In 2023

Rihanna has revealed that she wants to release her next album in 2023 after a seven year hiatus.

The singer, 34, – who revealed on Sunday that she is pregnant with her second child with beau A$AP Rocky – said it would be ‘ridiculous’ if it didn’t come out this year.

ANTI her last album came out in 2016 and was hugely successful – something Rihanna has now told Vogue means there is ‘pressure’ for her next songs to be better.

She said: ‘I want it to be this year. Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos.’

She added: ‘But there’s this pressure that I put on myself. That if it’s not better than that then it is not even worth it.

‘So I realised that if I keep waiting until this feels right and perfect and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever and maybe it’ll never come out and no, I’m not down to that.

‘So I want to play. And by play, I mean I have my ideas in my head, but I can’t say them out loud yet.’

The star shocked fans by revealing her second pregnancy as she showed off her growing baby bump during her much-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.

She shares her first child, who was born on May 13, 2022, with Rocky and the two have kept their growing family under the radar.
