Fuji musician, Remi Aluko has opened up about his worsening health condition, revealing that he has lost his sight as a result of a long-term battle with glaucoma
The musician made the revelation during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, where he spoke candidly about the challenges he has been facing behind the scenes.
According to Aluko, he has been living with glaucoma for several years and has previously undergone eye surgery in an effort to manage the condition. However, he disclosed that his vision has now deteriorated significantly.
Despite the severity of his situation, the Fuji star said he has chosen not to allow the condition to affect his outlook on life.
“I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing. Despite being a glaucoma patient, many people don’t know. There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down,” he said.
“Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed,” he added.
