Jesse Jagz has stirred controversy after delivering a scathing critique of Nigeria’s political class, blaming them for the country’s worsening economic and security challenges
The “Bad Girl” crooner took to his social media platform to question what he described as the persistent cycle of corruption and poor governance among Nigerian leaders.

According to him, many politicians fail to invest in critical sectors such as healthcare, only to later seek medical treatment abroad under dire conditions.
In a post, Jesse Jagz said the neglect of local healthcare systems is one of the reasons some politicians allegedly end up dying in foreign hospitals, despite years in power.
“Imagine getting the chance to change your people’s future, and all you do is steal the money and ship it abroad,” he wrote, expressing frustration over what he perceives as misplaced priorities among leaders.
The rapper further alleged that many Nigerian politicians serve foreign interests rather than those of the citizens, describing them as “puppets” influenced by external forces.
He also linked Nigeria’s current economic difficulties to past political developments, referencing the role of former U.S. President Barack Obama in global politics during the period that saw a shift in Nigeria’s leadership.
The rapper said, “Today’s politicians are no different from the collaborators who helped colonize us, or the ones who sold their own brothers and sisters into slavery. “I was here, alive, watching when Obama and his crew backed Buhari — and life has only gotten worse since.”
