Oyo school children k!dnapping not trending enough – Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage has reacted to the kidnapping of school children and teachers in Oyo State, expressing concern over the lack of attention the incident has received online

The singer said she only recently became aware of the incident after coming across a post by fellow artiste Spyro.

Tiwa Savage also referenced a post by media personality Kiekie, revealing her shock after learning the incident had reportedly happened almost two weeks ago.

She said:

“I started seeing the k!dnapping that happened in Oyo literally just yesterday. I think it was Spyro’s post that came up. And I’m trying to… I reached out to a couple of people to figure out what, you know, to get the back story. Because it wasn’t coming up in my timeline. It’s not trending enough. It’s not trending as much as it should.”

“Then I saw Kiki’s post and I see that she says it’s almost two weeks,” she added.
