Former Super Eagles coach, Finidi George has said, Victor Osimhen is yet to apologize to him over his social media outburst, which disrespected him.
Despite Finidi’s attempt to reach out to Osimhen, there has been no response.
“I sent him a message that it was not the best way, just someone telling you that coach said that and you’re taking about me like I said it in an interview.
“From that point I didn’t hear from him, I moved on and I wish everybody well, only God will judge,” Finidi was quoted to have said.
Finidi also feels he was used as a scapegoat by the NFF to deflect attention from the team’s poor World Cup qualifying performance.
He believes Osimhen was influenced by NFF officials to divert attention from the issue.
When asked about potential sanctions for Osimhen, Finidi declined to comment, stating that Osimhen has already made a mistake and life goes on.
