Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has shared a deeply personal story about the challenges he faced growing up, revealing how family conflict altered the course of his life.
According to him, tensions at home escalated when his stepmother gave his father an ultimatum, forcing him to make a painful choice.
“My stepmom asked my father to choose between her and me, he chose her. When i got admission into the university, she told my father I had to wait for her own child to grow up so we could go together, a child I’m 18 years older than.
That was how i ended up in the street and the street is doing me well”.
Inojie’s account noted the hardship he endured at a young age, including being denied the opportunity to further his education at the time.
Despite the setback, he credits his resilience and life on the streets for shaping his journey and eventual success in the entertainment industry.
