My American passport is worth more than a million dollars – Davido

Afrobeats superstar Davido has placed a high value on his U.S. passport, saying it is worth more than a million dollars due to the freedom it provides.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Davido holds dual citizenship, which gives him unrestricted access to the United States. Reflecting on its importance, he said, “Till date, I don’t care how much money you’ve got, that blue passport is worth more than a million dollars.”

He explained that the ability to travel freely, especially to America, is priceless. “The only thing is that I could fly anytime I wanted, like go to America every time I wanted and stuff. That was beautiful.”

The singer noted that while some of his team members struggle with visa restrictions, his U.S. passport makes travel effortless. He recalled instances where his bandmates faced delays in securing visas for international tours, while he had no such issues.

For Davido, the convenience and opportunities that come with his American passport make it more valuable than any amount of money.
