MC Fish opens up on past marriage and lessons learned

MC Fish has spoken about his former marriage with actress Anita Josephe, looking back on what he believed about love, openness, and trust in relationships.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, MC Fish explained that his view of marriage at the time was shaped by optimism and emotional certainty, but he later came to understand the importance of mutual honesty between partners.

He said:
“If you love someone and care for the person, you shouldn’t be afraid to do whatever you want with the person. I always believe in optimism. At that point, I was happy and respected. And I saw everything I wanted in a marriage and went into it. I learnt that in any relationship, honesty is important on both sides. Let it be as open as a book, no matter how hard it is”.

He reflected on how his experience changed his understanding of relationships, especially the need for clarity and openness between partners.
