Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford ‘reconciles’ with childhood sweetheart Lucia Loi eight months after shock split

Manchester United footballer, Marcus Rashford is reportedly back together with his childhood sweetheart Lucia Loi, eight months after they went their separate ways.  The England footballer, 24, was thought to have split from the university graduate in May 2021 because of ‘lockdown pressures.’ But Lucia has sparked rumours the couple have reunited after she posted a snap of a tattooed hand touching her boot. Sources told The Sun: ‘The break was good for their relationship as it offered them both space and assurance that they wanted to make this work moving forward.’ The insider added: ‘They have been together since school so an opportunity to breathe and focus on themselves was important.’ Another source dished: ‘They have a shared history. She is one of the people who knows him best. They got back together before Christmas and are taking things slowly.’ Lucia was apparently also spotted getting into Marcus’ car after Manchester United’s defeat against Wolves, according to The Sun. Marcus and Lucia met at Ashton on Mersey School in Greater Manchester.  Lucia has been pictured supporting Marcus at football games over the years, including during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. She was spotted rocking a Three Lions shirt with Rashford printed the back during England’s win game against Sweden in the quarter-finals.
