Nollywood actor Kunle Remi couldn’t hide his excitement after Hollywood star Michael B. Jordan won his first Oscar on Sunday night.
Taking to his page, Kunle shared his joy and had a little fun comparing Hollywood to Nollywood awards.
“So happy for MBJ.
So they engrave your name after you win!
Right there. Take it home!
If na AMVCA, all of you will share one for the night, then come back and collect it at the next award,” he wrote.
With his post, Kunle explained the clear difference between how awards are celebrated in Hollywood and Nollywood, giving a humorous yet pointed reminder of the contrasts between the two industries.
However, we hope AMVCA improves.
