Kate and Rio Ferdinand announce they are expecting first child together

Kate and Rio Ferdinand have announced they are having a baby. The former TOWIE star, 29, and former footballer, 41, revealed the news on social media on Thursday evening. Kate posted onto her Instagram account: “The crazy house is about to get a little bit crazier.. every time I watch this it makes me cry, the best reaction Baby Ferdy we are all so excited to meet you.” Alongside the message a video was shared by the blonde beauty, where she and Rio could be seen with his children – her step children – Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, nine. The family could be seen flicking through a photo album and looking at baby photos before Kate exclaimed: “I am pregnant!” Proving that the brood cannot wait for the new addition, they could all be seen cheering and jumping about when they found out that a new baby was on the way. Little Tia shrieked with happiness and started chanting “sister, sister” – revealing that she is keen for Kate to have a girl.
Kate also stood up and rubbed her tiny bump as she glowed with happiness. Rio posted the same footage onto his page and penned: “We got our wish, another Ferdinand en route!!
@xkateferdinand I can’t wait to go through this whole pregnancy together and then bring our little human into this world .The reaction though.”
Kate and Rio tied the knot in a lavish three-day ceremony in Turkey last year.
