Just in : #EndSARS protesters dispersed in Lagos

#EndSARS protesters in Lagos have been dispersed by the police. The protesters were demanding dismantling of the Special Ant-Robbery Response Squad (SARS) unit of the police for alleged brutality and extortion. The protest, which kicked-off on Wednesday in Ikeja, was extended to Lekki toll gate opposite Oriental Hotel. It was gathered that the police dispersed the protesters with some of them allegedly assaulted. Musicians Falz and Runtown have vowed not to back down on the protest.
