The renewed interest in Shake Body comes after the song was featured in Season 2, Episode 8 of the American series Step Up: High Water, and danced to by Barcelona’s Yamine Lamal, exposing the track to a wider international audience and breathing new life into the Afrobeat anthem.
Originally released as the lead single from his debut album Man of the Year, Shake Body played a pivotal role in Skales’ early career.
