Victor Osimhen has said there was a time when all he wanted from God was enough to take care of his family, and becoming one of the world’s highest-paid footballers wasn’t even part of his prayer
The Super Eagles striker said his request to God was simple, but life turned out far better than he ever imagined.
“I prayed to God not to make me super rich just comfortable enough to take care of my family. But He blessed me with more than I ever imagined. Today, my family can drive any car they want”, he said in a recent interview.
Looking at where he is today, Osimhen says he is grateful for how much his life has changed. More than the fame and success on the football pitch, he takes pride in knowing his family now enjoys a life they once could only dream about.
Having come from a difficult background, he says those experiences still influence the way he lives and thinks. They also remind him not to lose sight of the values that helped him get this far.
