Jada Pinkett-Smith, the wife of Hollywood actor and producer Will Smith, said she hopes that Chris Rock and her husband Will Smith reconcile after the shocking slap at the 2022 Oscar Award.
She stated this on Wednesday, in her latest episode on the Red Table Talk.
Will had smacked Chris across the face for making a joke about his wife’s hair condition; alopecia.
The slap caused a worldwide buzz, earning Will a ban from future Oscar Awards.
Wearing a fur turtle-neck top, Jada faced the camera saying; “My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile.”
“The state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever.
“Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that is to keep figuring out this thing called life together” she added.
