I do the cooking, not my wife – Banky W

Singer Banky W has opened up about his role in the kitchen at home, making it clear that he’s the one who handles most of the cooking — and he has no issues with that

During a conversation on the Teju Babyface Show, the  music star reacted to buzz surrounding a clip of him cooking, explaining how things work in his household with his wife, Adesua Etomi-Wellington.

He pointed out that while his wife knows how to cook, it’s not something she does often. “There are some men who believe their wife must cook for them. My wife doesn’t really cook, though she can but it’s just not her thing,” he said.

For him, stepping into the kitchen is something he genuinely enjoys, not a chore forced on him. He described it as a natural part of their relationship, rather than something dictated by tradition.

Banky W also emphasized that marriages shouldn’t be boxed into societal expectations, noting that every couple should find a system that suits them best instead of trying to live by other people’s standards.
