I begged Chike to leave my wife – Edoho clarifies “Malice” statement

Frank Edoho has finally opened up about the controversy surrounding his crashed marriage to Sandra Edoho, sharing his side of the story during a recorded phone conversation with Instagram influencer Titi

The conversation surfaced online after Titi attempted to explain Frank’s earlier comments about “keeping malice,” which had caused uproar.

According to Frank, the crisis in his marriage began after he discovered that his then-wife was allegedly involved with singer Chike. He claimed that after confronting her about the relationship, she assured him she would end things with the singer.

However, Frank said months later he discovered they were still seeing each other and tried repeatedly to save the marriage.

He alleged that he later met Chike at an event and confronted him over the affair.

According to Frank, the singer allegedly became nervous and started trembling when he approached him.

He claimed he asked Chike why he was involved with a married woman and even pleaded with him to stay away from his wife, believing that if Chike stepped back, his marriage could still survive.

Frank said Chike allegedly promised to stop communicating with her while standing beside his girlfriend at the event.

The media personality further revealed that despite his anger, he restrained himself because he wanted to preserve his family and avoid another failed marriage after the collapse of his first union.

He also alleged that his ex-wife denied continuing the relationship whenever he questioned her, but he later overheard conversations between her and Chike after secretly recording calls.

According to him, the conversations allegedly involved plans to meet in the United States while discussing fears that the scandal could damage Chike’s career.

Frank claimed the pair allegedly agreed to stop communicating publicly for a few months to reduce suspicion and public attention.

He emotionally revealed that he begged his ex-wife several times to end the relationship, cried over the situation, involved their spiritual mother, and even gave her space in hopes of fixing the marriage, but nothing changed.

He disclosed that he eventually moved out and stayed in a hotel for about three months before Sandra later appealed to him to return home.

According to him, although he eventually returned, the marriage was already beyond repair, and they later agreed to continue acting normally around their children until the kids gradually adjusted to the separation.

Frank also claimed that after he began socializing with other women while trying to heal, his ex-wife became jealous and eventually filed for divorce.

Addressing allegations of domestic violence, he explained that his earlier comments about “malice” were made while responding to those accusations.

He further stated that he supported Sandra financially and academically during their marriage, including sponsoring her education and helping her establish a career in interior decoration.

Frank also denied leaking private recordings to controversial blogger Cutie Juls, insisting that the recordings were only submitted as evidence during their divorce proceedings and may have leaked from there.

He added that he even pleaded with the blogger not to publish the story for the sake of their children, but according to him, efforts to keep things private failed.

Before ending the call, Frank promised to release more recordings and evidence to support his claims.
