Guinness World Records REJECTS Ghanaian chef’s 227-hour cook-a-thon

Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul-Razak’s bid to break the world record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual has been rejected by Guinness World Records.

Despite cooking non-stop for over 227 hours in January, her attempt fell short due to a violation of rest break rules.

The coordinator, Kafui Dey, confirmed the unsuccessful endeavor, which had garnered widespread support from politicians, celebrities, and the military in Ghana.

Despite the setback, Chef Abdul-Razak expressed gratitude to her supporters, acknowledging their crucial role in her journey and saying she isn’t taking it for granted.
