Actor Uzee Usman has seemingly shaded the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), after Funke Akindele’s movie failed to win any award at the just concluded ceremony
In a post shared after the awards outcome, the actor questioned the meaning behind the event’s name, writing:
“The meaning of AMVCA AFRICA MAGIC VIEWERS CHOICE AWARDS? Hmmmmmmm… 🐒”
The remark has been widely interpreted on social media as a subtle dig at the AMVCA.
