Omowunmi Dada has said that fame has not taken anything away from her but has instead added value to her life
The actress explained that stardom has made her more conscious of how she relates with people, noting that it has encouraged her to treat others with kindness regardless of their social status.
Speaking on the impact of fame, Dada said the awareness that people look up to her has influenced her behaviour, especially in her interactions with fans.
“There are times I have menstrual cramps and a fan sees me and tries so hard to greet me. Even when I’m not in a good mood because of the pain, I still try to attend to them with a smile,” she said.
According to her, such moments remind her that fans may not always have the opportunity to meet their favourite celebrities again.
“That person might not have the chance to see me again, so how I respond in that moment could determine the kind of impression they have about me,” she added.
“Fame has given me the awareness to be kind to people, but not to take nonsense from anyone,” she said.
