Actress, Mary Njoku has shared a humorous and unconventional take on the ongoing debate about couples splitting bills in relationships
Taking to Instagram, she used a biblical analogy from the Garden of Eden to make her point, blending humour with sarcasm as she commented on modern relationship expectations.
According to her, when God punished mankind for sin, each gender was given different “burdens,” and she believes those roles were not meant to be mixed.
She wrote:
“When God was purishing humans for sinning in the Garden of Eden, the curse unto women was: She will suffer pain in childbearing.
For man: he will labor to get food to feed himself and his wife.
Now there’s one party (men) that wants to share their curse 50/50.
Guys let everyone stick to their curse”
