For Davido, music has always been more than just a career. It is something he believes would have remained part of his life no matter the path he eventually took.
Speaking during an interview with PlayKisstra, the singer reflected on what he thinks he would have been doing if he had not become one of Africa’s biggest music stars.
“I’d probably be a label owner or have a media house because I’ve always loved entertainment. Even if I was working in my daddy’s office, I can see myself having a side business like a music label just because I love music,” he said.
His statement connotes that his passion for entertainment goes beyond performing on stage. Even in a different career, Davido believes he would still have found a way to stay connected to music, whether by running a record label or building a media company.
Over the years, the award winning singer has also played a role in supporting and working with other artists, making his interest in the business side of entertainment just as clear as his passion for making music.
