Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido Nominated Alongside 7 Others for the 2021 MOBO Awards

Nigerian superstars, Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid are among the 10 artists nominated for the Best African Act award at this year’s MOBO Awards show.

The MOBO Awards full nominee list was released today and the Best African Music Actcategory includes Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido nominated at once. This was revealed on Thursday, the 11th of November 2021. The MOBO Awards is an annual British awards ceremony that celebrates achievements in “music of black origin“. The show honors the best of the best in Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel, and African Music. The 2021 edition of the MOBO Awards will hold at Coventry’s CBS Arena on Sunday, the 5th of December 2021. 10 African acts have been nominated for the Best African Music act at the 2021 MOBO Awards including Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido. Of the 10 names on this list of nominees in this particular category, 8 are Nigerian by nationality, while the other two are Ghana’s King Promiseand British-African music group, NSG. Other Nigerians on this list nominees asides from the aforementioned include; CKayTiwa SavageRemaTems, and Ayra Starr.
