Bukayo Saka has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new five-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2031. The 24-year-old’s previous deal was set to expire in June 2027, but Arsenal moved early to secure him amid strong interest from clubs across England and Europe
Since breaking into the first team, Saka has become a key figure in Arsenal’s starting XI. This season, he is helping Mikel Arteta’s side chase an unprecedented quadruple, with the Gunners currently topping the Premier League, advancing to the last-16 of the Champions League, reaching the fifth round of the FA Cup, and preparing to face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.
BBC Sport reports that negotiations for the new deal had been ongoing for some time. The contract reportedly makes Saka the highest-paid player at the club, with wages believed to exceed £300,000 per week.
Saka joins a growing list of Arsenal players who have recently signed long-term extensions, including William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Since his debut, Saka has made 239 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 77 goals, including seven in 33 matches this season. However, he is currently in a 15-game goal drought, last finding the net in a 2-0 home win over Brentford in early December 2025.
