Rapper, Blaqbonez has jokingly called out international stars Drake, Central Cee, Future and Gunna for ignoring his new song, “Chanel.”
The rapper, who released “Chanel” with Asake, jokingly complained on social media that none of the foreign artistes had promoted the track despite him supporting their own releases.
His post quickly amused many
music fans, who pointed out that the artistes he tagged are global American and British rap stars with no direct connection to the Nigerian music scene.
Some social media users interpreted the statement as pure sarcasm and typical Blaqbonez humour, while others joked that expecting reposts from Drake or Future was overly ambitious.
“i think this industry is very wicked because since i dropped Chanel, none of my peers have posted it @drake i posted yours last week, @centralcee @1future @1Gunna Gunna I support you when you drop but when i put out the biggest song of the summer its crickets, the double standards,” he wrote.
