Asake has made an announcement regarding his upcoming album
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the Nigerian star revealed that his fourth studio album, titled M$NEY, is set for release on May 1.
The announcement marks another milestone in his fast-paced rise, as he has maintained a rare consistency of dropping a full studio album every year since his breakthrough in 2022.
Rather than opting for a conventional promo campaign, Asake chose a more artistic route.
He shared the announcement on Instagram and X through a short visual film featuring Iraqi-Dutch sculptor Athar Jabar, who is seen carving a life-size marble bust of the singer in Carrara, Italy.
In the video, Jabar carefully shapes the sculpture from Statuario marble, a material historically associated with classical Renaissance masterpieces. The creative direction is widely interpreted as a statement of permanence, suggesting Asake’s intention to position himself as a lasting figure in contemporary African music.
