Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Asake has reached a new career high on Spotify, recording his biggest single-day streaming figure to date with over 18 million streams globally.
According to data from Spotify charts, his track “M$NEY” delivered an impressive 10.003 million streams in its first full day, topping the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs chart.
The achievement marks one of the strongest opening-day performances ever recorded by an African artist on the platform.
In a parallel milestone, Asake has also made history on Apple Music in the United Kingdom. With his latest success, he becomes the first African artist to have five separate projects reach the No. 1 position on the Apple Music UK Top Albums Chart, further cementing his influence beyond the African continent.
The record breaking numbers highlight Asake’s continued dominance in the global Afrobeats movement, as his sound resonates with audiences across multiple regions and streaming platforms.
